The wait is over! A new edition of the “Trapani Arabian Horse Cup” is about to return to Trapani, the equestrian event that has been held in our territory for a few years, with great public success and the magnificence of the thoroughbred horses engaged in a high-level competition.
The organizers of the sporting event, the Erice equestrian group, have requested the beach of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele for the exhibition of these splendid animals in a kermesse that will end on Sunday 11 May with the final parade.
Not only a sporting competition but also entertainment and a meeting point for fans of the genre.
The competitions will begin on Friday 9 May and the performances of the horse and rider will be judged by a very high-level jury, composed of great experts in the equestrian sector who will evaluate the performances with great impartiality and applying the rigorous rules issued by the equestrian federation.
The curious, especially children, will be able to admire more closely one of the oldest and most well-known equine breeds, the Arabian horse. It is a horse with an elegant bearing, thin and elastic skin and short and shiny hair.
The Arabian horse is an essential part of Arab culture and religion and it is said that even Mohammed loved these horses very much, fundamental in travel, wars and campaigns of conquest.
