The engines are warming up for the fourth edition of Trapani Comix, a great event that will attract thousands of visitors, comic book, board game, video game and cosplay enthusiasts from all over Italy to Trapani from 19 to 21 May.
Those who write to you and say it with great sincerity, back in 2019 when this adventure began, would not have bet even a single euro on its success and instead had to change their mind because the numbers are truly exceptional. In the spaces of the Villa Margherita, where the event takes place, last year it was besieged by over 23,000 visitors thanks also to the major live events such as the concert by Cristina D´Avena and the exhibition of the "Soldi Spicci ”. This year the events are no less and Nerd Attack promise sparks with a program that fans and not only promise to follow almost to the letter.
A name that music lovers certainly know is the singer-songwriter and bassist La Commare, who fans will remember with pleasure for having participated in the Italian edition of The Voice in 2019, where she magnificently duetted with Morgan, one of the coaches of the show. Furthermore, in 2021 she performed at the Ariston theater in Trapani to stage "Sorelle", a musical show dedicated to the two sisters of the Italian song: Mia Martini and Loredana Bertè.
Other names that will fill the Trapani Comix billboard are, among others, Giulio Mosca, cartoonist and illustrator, Kamisama Lisa, cosplayer, the Snow Ghost, famous Twitch star performer, Claudio Moneta, great actor and voice actor who needs no introduction, and then for video game lovers, PC workstations, a Nintendo area and other workstations with lots of games to spend three cheerful afternoons.
Trapani Comix, for the uninitiated, is part of RIFF, a national network, which includes all the Italian Comics Festivals whose objective is the promotion and enhancement of comics, defined according to an ancient definition as the ninth art.
