Now in its sixth year, the culinary event Garlic Red & White Salt once again, this year for a simple but effective: the territory that revolves around the salt marshes and its exploitation.
Indeed, it is in the territory of Nubia and Paceco that generate two delights of the area to slow food.
We speak of course of the Trapani salt, appreciated all over the world and garlic red nubia whose organoleptic characteristics make it one of the leading products in the exports of the province of Trapani.
The festival promises, therefore, to promote, explain and enhance these two foods so inextricably linked to each other and to the territory in which they are produced. Land that will be part of the event by welcoming events and tastings. In fact, the location chosen for the exhibition is the whole area of the salt pans of Trapani with its epicenter of events in the museum of the salt at Salina Calcara.
The program is still being developed and we will give account in the next few days, when it will be made official.
The poster promises, however, meetings, debates, music, wine tastings and excursions to the reserve of the salt and the salt museum.
The event, organized by Trapani Welcome association, is sponsored by the town of Paceco in collaboration with the Slow Food Association Trapani.
