Even if astronomically speaking summer is coming to an end, it does not mean that events and events that want to promote local food and wine are lacking in the area in favor of the many tourists and visitors who are still seen in our area.
One of these events is definitely Tuna Fish Fest or the great celebration of one of the greatest specialties of our sea or the tuna prepared in many ways. First of all, Tuna Fish Fest returns to Trapani after a few years of absence, however, in this post-pandemic edition the procedure is twofold, because the format, which has been studied, sees the promotion of tuna both in digital format and through initiatives from the I live.
From this week until October 31st, video recipes, conferences and five online cooking shows will follow one another on the website www.tunafishfest.it, while live it will be possible to taste delicious tuna-based dishes thanks to the membership of three restaurants. of Trapani, which are Tentazioni di Gusto, Stravento and Ittiturismo La Tramontana.
Tuna Fish Fest is part of a project funded by the Department of Agriculture of the Sicily Region and is the result of a collaboration between various public and private entities with the patronage of the municipality of Trapani. The partnership is enriched even more with the participation of the Dino Grammatico Study Center and the provincial association of Trapani chefs, pastry chefs and restaurateurs.
Those who want can follow the conferences and cooking shows in streaming and the recipes that will be given, subsequently, will be collected in a special recipe book, which school children are working on through the creation of a highly multimedia editorial product.
For those who still want to smell the tuna and taste its flavor, there are, as we have already said, evenings at the restaurant and luckily there is still no such cutting-edge technology that can replace the taste buds.
