The photo exhibition "Trapani in photo" returns to Trapani, now in its ninth edition and this year proposes as a theme the extraordinary world of music in its various forms and its protagonists; for protagonists we do not mean only the musicians, but also the instruments, the stage photos and the many images, which if well captured by the lens of an expert photographer, then these images can express something.
In essence, this is the goal of Trapani in photo, organized as always by the association I colori della vita, which thanks to the collaboration of various agencies and media partners such as the municipality of trapani and the Region of Sicily, will offer the many visitors a series of side events that frame the event, which will take place from 18 to 27 October in the S. Agostino auditorium in Trapani.
Among the scheduled events there is a literary review with the presentation of some books as "Jazz Notes" by Giuseppe Cardoni and that of Roberto Strano which presents his latest literary work entitled "Sicilian Photographers scattered around the world".
There will be debates and meetings with Roberto Mutti on the analysis and perspectives of contemporary photography and a Lectio Magistralis with Maurizio Galimberti.
Given that we talk about music this year, we couldnīt miss a concert that closes the event on Sunday 27 October at 18.30 with the musical performance of Francesco Buzzurro.
Returning to the photographic event, there are several exhibitions on the program: to report the collective exhibitions organized by the Associazione Fotografi Italiani Jazz, the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and that of the Scatto Group "I Colori della Vita".
Also this year the association I colori della vita organizes the Portfolio Competition 2019 during the event, open to all photographers and amateurs, who present their photographic works and this year there will be the inevitable appointment of " TrapaniInphto Gocce , an evocative photographic exhibition of the many photography enthusiasts set up in various parts of the historic center.
