As part of the "Christmas Mediterranean" review, the Enese Luglio Musicale Trapanese is also organizing this year the Fantastic Christmas Village, which is a huge container that will have as main location the Villa Margherita, but also the Villa Pepoli, transformed for the opportunity in a huge jumble of sounds, colors and cultures in what is considered the Mediterranean city of Music and Peace.
This is the guiding thread of Christmas 2018 in Trapani, a city open to acceptance, integration and social inclusion, messages that are the driving force of every Christmas holiday.
The Fantastic Christmas Village provides until January 6 workshops for childrenīs cooking, animations, games, fire shows and the raids of Santa Claus with the diligence on horseback, but especially for the biggest theatrical performances in other sites of the city, which only the Enese Luglio Musicale Trapanese knows how to set up and bring on stage.
We report at 18.00 on Friday 21 December at the Don Bosco theater the show "The Eumenides from Aeschylus to Pasolini", which is a performance in single act freely taken from the Eumenides of Aeschylus and the Orestiadi of Pasolini interpreted by the boys of high schools Ximenes and V Fardella di Trapani.
Friday, December 28 at 21.00 in the Church of the College gospel music lovers can attend a wonderful concert of American gospel in the show "Eric Waddel & Abundant Life Gospel Singers", while Saturday, December 29 in the Church of SantīAgostino there will be a evocative performance in the Sicilian language with paraliturgical chants of the Sicilian popular tradition.
Finally, the last week of the year will end on Sunday, December 30th at 5.00 pm in Piazza Municipio, where another great show of theater, pantomime, dance, animation and fire magic will be on stage.
The Fantastic Christmas Village will end on Saturday 5 January, and it could not be otherwise, at the center Nino Via with an animation show for children to commemorate Nino Via, tragically disappeared on January 5, 2007 in an attempt to save a colleague of his work victim of a robbery.
