After the great event of the Cous Cous Fest, San Vito Lo Capo does not go on vacation, because the seaside village is always on the move since many tourists are still present in our territory thanks to the time that still holds.
Another event is in preparation, but there are no things to eat, because a good body and sport are the main protagonists of the eleventh edition of the Sprint Triathlon, which will take place on 20-21 October next to San Vito Lo Capo for the ´precisely.
The Triathlon is an individual or team multidisciplinary sport that is articulated on three tests, which are running, swimming and cycling and take place in immediate succession.
Since 2000 it has become an Olympic specialty for both men and women.
At San Vito Lo Capo this edition of the sports festival, which is dedicated to the memory of Roberto Miceli, an athlete who died prematurely a few years ago and remained in the hearts of many fans, provides a two-day program with a very intense program involving almost all enthusiasts also the amateur.
The event begins Saturday, October 20 at 15 with the category "boys" with the participation of athletes who are 12-13 years, while Sunday morning from 10.00 will be the protagonists of the "senior" who will compete for the conquest of the title .
The triathlon is however a specialty that also involves numerous enthusiasts who are a bit ´ahead with age, even the federation card in the category "Master 8" athletes who are over 75 years of age; so it is a sport that can be done, obviously with the strict authorization of the doctor, by people no longer very young from the point of view of the registry, but who in the spirit are so young as to make considerable physical effort.
As always in every self-respecting event, in San Vito Lo Capo nightlife is the host with musical and gastronomic events for the fun of the many tourists and visitors.
