The beautiful island of Favignana returns to host the Florio Festival, now in its third edition, which will take place with a fascinating program from 24 June to 6 July.
In the two weeks of the event are expected ten plays ranging from jazz to classical music and prose.
It begins Tuesday, June 24, at 21:30 in the Auditorium of the former plant Florio, with "Flowers of the Sea", poetry and prose by Luigi Pirandello, with Fabrizio Falco. The event is curated by Danilo Nigrelli.
Wednesday, June 25, at 18, at the Cave Bianche Hotel, the famous Genoese singer-songwriter Gino Paoli meet the public and press in "A chat with Gino Paoli", where he will have the opportunity to present his latest album, entitled "Naples with Love" . An event with free admission - by reservation by calling 0923 92545 - thanks to the rich tasting offered by the Cantine Florio. At 21:30, at the Villa Margherita, there will be a musical aperitif, thanks to the skill of Maria Francesca Rizza and his flute, and the voice of Amanda Sandrelli and Danilo Nigrelli. On June 26, at 21:30, not to be missed in the large courtyard of the former Florio Plant, where they will perform in concert Gino Paoli and Danilo Rea. A performance that will feature national and international songs, the unforgettable hits of Paoli, and even the great classics of the Neapolitan song writing. Always Auditorium, Wednesday, July 2, piano protagonist with "Barquet Sur Līocean". Performances by Jacopo Fulimeni and Emil Reinard, winners of the scholarship ProgettoIMC 2014. Solimeni perform music by Mozart, Chopin and Rachmaninov, and Reinard entertain the audience with hints of Debussy, Ravel, Schubert and Liszt.
