On 26 and 27 April , will take place the 56th Monte Erice Hillclimb , valid as proof of the Italian Championship Mountain . To be precise , the 2nd leg of the Championship , according to the national calendar CSAI - Italian Motor Sport Commission .
Last year, the race also valid as proof Challenge FIA , was not carried out because the Automobile Club Trapani - organizing body of the historic event - has had difficulty in obtaining the necessary funds to set it up .

The route length of 5730 km , to be performed on two separate sessions of race , difference in height between the start and finish of the 410 meters with an average gradient of 7.05 % . The streets of the race course will be closed to traffic for the duration of the session .
As for the two sessions , the conductors after the first climb , past the finish line of arrival, strictly observing the instructions of the Marshals, must go to the suitable place , where there parc fermé , waiting to reach the place of departure for the second session of the race.
On April 25 , at 10:30 am will meet for the first time the Stewards . From 10:30 to 19:30 , will begin testing and scrutineering , which will be held in the space of Piazzale Ilio , Trapani .
