Inaugurated on 31 July, the fifth edition of the gastronomic "Baglio Oil and Sea", which until August 2 in the "Bay of Santa Margherita" in Castelluzzo, a hamlet a few kilometers from San Vito Lo Capo, you will taste dishes fish. The event is organized by the tourist cultural "Castelluzzo" and was created with the aim of promoting a stretch of unspoiled coastline and a must to live and propose to the many tourists the various fish specialties. Squid, shrimp, sardines, anchovies and maccarruneddu will be fried in a giant pan of three meters in diameter, but in the menu there will swordfish and blue fish cooked on the grill.
During the lunch hour, from 12 to 15, the tasting will be offered by the sea, in Santa Margherita Bay, where you can watch, practically in live fish to fry. Two menus are planned at this time and as a first course busiate Trapanese, fried fish, bruscetta, yellow melon and a glass of wine, while the other menu includes only the catch of the day (squid, cod, anchovies, sardines and prawns), yellow melon and a glass of wine. Also do not miss the evening appointment from 20 to 23, where the tasting will be at the heart of Castelluzzo with grilled mixed fish, yellow melon and a glass of wine.
During the three-day event, the public can also participate in workshops sensory, which are guided tastings of oil, and moments of analysis with the conference "Oil Castelluzzo, the riches of a cultivation of excellence" that will shine the spotlight on one of the higher quality products of the territory but also its possibilities of development.
As in all the gastronomic events that are observed, the evening will be dedicated to live music and entertainment.
