From August 27 to 31, 2025, the charming coastal town of San Vito Lo Capo will once again become a vibrant open-air stage for San Vito Jazz, a refined music festival celebrating the best of Italian and international jazz. First launched in 1993 as a tribute to Sicilian jazz musician Maurizio Peraino, the event has grown into an annual tradition, curated by his brother Dario Peraino, and supported by the town’s tourism operators and local administration.
Performances take place each evening in some of the town’s most scenic spots, including the garden of Palazzo La Porta and several picturesque squares, where the sounds of jazz blend naturally with the sea breeze and golden sunset. This year’s edition introduces an exciting new feature: the Jazz School. Promising young talents from Sicily’s top jazz conservatories will perform alongside their mentors, offering audiences a fresh and dynamic showcase of the genre’s next generation. Trumpet virtuoso Fabrizio Bosso is also expected to be among the highlights of the 2025 lineup.
