Even in Marsala the engines are warming up for the summer season and one of the most anticipated musical events on the bill is certainly the Arisa concert, which will be held on 17 August in Piazza della Vittoria.
Arisa made herself known to the general public thanks to the 2009 Sanremo Festival, winning in the "New Proposals" category with the single "Sincerity", which was one of the best-selling songs in Italy that year with more than 400,000 copies.
A real boom for a song that has taken so much among the people, to be the subject of numerous parodies broadcast almost daily on radio and television.
After all, even Arisa herself, when she presented herself for the first time in front of the public, aroused a certain hilarity for her somewhat particular look and why not also for her real name which is Rosalba Pippa.
The stage name that was then chosen is Arisa, which is nothing more than an acronym for the names of all the members of her family.
Since the victory of the Sanremo Festival, Arisa´s career has been a crescendo because then she continued her activity by participating again in the Italian Song Festival in the "Champions" category for 6 times and also winning it in 2014 with the song "Controvento".
In recent years Arisa divides herself between music and television; in particular on the small screen, the singer has held the role of juror in Amici di Maria de Filippi and the Masked Singer, but music remains, however, her first love, composing with great success the song "Until dawn", selected as the official anthem of the XXV Winter Olympic Games.
