The program of the event which is under the artistic direction of Mauro Carpi provides from Saturday 15 to Tuesday 18 September a series of performances with great artists, maybe they are not known to the general public, but in their field are real numbers one.
It starts on Saturday 15 September with the Eba Trio group composed by Edoardo Donato, Bruno Crescente and Arabella Rustico, respectively on sax, guitar and bass. They are three young mazaresi who have long cultivated their passion for jazz and hold many concerts, participating in various musical contests with excellent results.
Then on Sunday, September 16th with the PBB Pickup Blues Band, composed by veterans of the caliber of Giacomo Bertuglia, Maurizio Buffa and Michele Pantaleo, respectively on bass, drums and guitar and will perform a repertoire ranging from funky to cross over jazz to R & B.
It continues beautifully Monday, September 17 with Giacomo Giambruno, who is one of the greatest Sicilian saxophonists with his quartet will present his new record that is part of JUIU, which is a project of jazz music, where Giambruno has more privileged his melodic aspect, the recognizability of its sound and filtering the listenings of its favorite artists, making an excellent personal synthesis. An enjoyable and flowing record came out of it.
It ends Tuesday, September 18 with the performance of the famous trio of Sicilian trumpet player, Giacomo Tantillo, which offers a repertoire of original songs written by Tantillo himself, but also some pieces of modern popular jazz music.
All four concerts will be held in the municipal building of Palazzo la Porta and will be completely free.
