In Castellammare del Golfo was inaugurated the exhibition of contemporary art ´ Towards the other Christmas - between the sacred and profane, " December 7, 2013 and will continue until January 6, 2014.
The initiative was organized by the Cultural RIcercArte of Palermo, under the auspices of the Municipality of Castellammare del Golfo ( TP) , under the supervision of the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor Nicholas Coppola Claudia Riginella tourism .
The purpose of the event, which is no coincidence that he chose Castellammare as its stage , is to create an artistic environment that reflects the present day , with as many as 24 artists who have been able to tell the Christmas from the point of view of the ´ other ´ , meaning ´ neighbor ´ , and focus on the importance , especially in recent times , to create a culture of solidarity and hospitality.
Due to the sensitivity of the 24 artists will be given new light on these issues, in the hope that it is possible to re-establish contact with the art of love and peace among people , and in the hope that their art always offers new insights about Christmas.
