Tuscany and Liguria remain for the third consecutive year at the top of the podium and the provinces most sought-after in these regions are respectively Grosseto and Savona. Sardinia regained third position in the ranking ( in 2009 it was the Emilia Romagna) and is the area of Olbia Tempio to depopulate . The Emilia Romagna , however, follows closely around the Italian Riviera and link on the fun of the province of Rimini. The Lazio dropped one place but remains in the Top 5 of the most popular regions for the holidays and requests for rent are concentrated particularly in the area of Latin America. In the following 5 positions of the Top 10 follow Veneto , Puglia , Sicily , Marche and Abruzzo. Veneto and Puglia , which in 2009 had lost ground with the demands of 2008, but this year they regain positions , with the provinces of Venice and Lecce at the center of the scene. Sicily lost two positions compared to 2009, with Trapani as the areaŽs main attraction. Le Marche , which last year were placed in fifth place, are now in ninth place , with the province of Ascoli Piceno at the top among the most popular tourist areas . For the third consecutive year the Abruzzo remains stable in tenth place and Pescara province appears to be the most coveted. Regardless of the regional rankings , the analysis of the provinces most popular throughout Italy subverts the order to the podium in the first position the area of Olbia -Tempio, where depopulated Golfo Aranci , Palau and S. Teresa Di Gallura. Second ranked the province of Savona, in which places of great interest are Alassio , Pietra Ligure and Bergeggi .
