Sunday, October 6 th, at 10:00 am at the Museum Pepoli , during the Tenth National Day of Friends of Museums , will be presented the book The Museum Interdisciplinary Agostino Pepoli Regional , published by the FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM PEPOLI that, in pursuing one of the statutory purposes which " promote and carry out initiatives journalistic and editorial use every form of communication , which aims to enhance and promote wide-ranging knowledge of the Museum Pepoli ," wants to offer this monograph with a visit to support and encourage the approach to the collections of the Museum .
After " The Royal Museum Pepoli in Trapani " by Luigi Biagi (Rome 1935) , " The National Museum Pepoli in Trapani " Vincenzo Scuderi (Rome 1965) and " Trapani Pepoli Museum " by various authors (Palermo , 1991) , also works by time exhausted, the need felt by many a publication that illustrate the Museum and its collections , has been caught by the FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM PEPOLI that has taken the initiative editorial .
The volume that uses texts by Patrizia Valeria LiVigni Li , Daniela Scandariato , Lina Novara , Anna Occhipinti , Maria Luisa Famŕ , is divided into many sections as there are in the Museum, in the order of access; explanatory sheets of individual works and techniques enrich the orderly narrative of the collections.
The work will be presented by prof. Maria Antonietta Spadaro , art historian and national vice president ANISA ( National Association of Teachers of History of Art ) .
The day will be as follows: at 10 am the greetings inaugural presentation of the book at 10.30 and at 11.30 the visit to the exhibition ... A sea of corals and treasures, including sections dedicated to coral and the Treasury of the Madonna of Trapani, in new display by the architect. Anna Occhipinti .
The inaugural event there will be presentations of: Mariarita Sgarlata , Regional Minister of Culture and Sicilian Identity ; Sergio Gelardi , Director General of the Regional Department of Culture and Sicilian Identity ; Patrizia Valeria Li LiVigni Interdisciplinary Regional Director of the Museum " Agostino Pepoli " Lina Novara , president of Friends of the Museum Pepoli , Maria Antonietta Spadaro , Art Historian - Deputy national Chairman ANISA who will present volume.
