The Pepoli Museum of Trapani from 18 May to 30 June 2013 will host a major exhibition on corals Trapani made by the master craftsmen of the Sicilian city in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Will be exhibited for the first time masterpieces from public and private collections that demonstrate how the processing of this material, in Sicily and in particular in Trapani, is a real art.
Showcasing over 120 precious artifacts of inestimable value selected with great care: jewels and sacred vessels (chalices, crucifixes, reliquaries, rosaries and nativity scenes) and even ink, salt and refined elements such as mirrors, frames, tables, chests and cabinets monumental intended for the princely houses and hold.
