What to do in the Province of Trapani

The archipelago of the Egadi is formed by the islands of Favignana, Levanzo, Marettino and from the rocks of Maraone and Formica, located a short distance from the coast of Trapani. Of great interest are the traps of Favignana and Levanzo, among the most important in Sicily.
Inhabited since by ´prehistoric, known in the´ classical antiquity, the islands Aegates, were owned by the Pallavicini family-Rusconi until the nineteenth century, then the Florio and finally of the Parodi.

L ´archipelago can be reached with just one hour by hydrofoil from Trapani. A few kilometers from the sea rises the beam Agriturisca ANCIENT Trapani Via 17, 91010 - Fulgatore Trapani. For information and reservations visit the website of the structure.
