It's started by Wednesday, April 3rd Party Music Art of Catania, for the XXX Jazz concert season of Catania, the tour Sicilian Gege Telesforo presenting his latest album "Nu Joy." The album, released at the end of last year, surprising contains 9 original compositions written by Telesphorus, and two new arrangements: An exciting version of a classic like "No Woman No Cry" by Bob Marley, and "Asshole" song "scat" written by Lucio Dalla in 1983, reviewed by Telesphorus in funk.
Telesphorus arrives on stage with new band for a concert full of energy and new sounds. The voices blend with the rhythm and harmonies of the new songs: elegance, ambience, groove, power as well as traditional and contemporary jazz together in a concert that rises to a final overwhelming. The Joy Nu Band is formed by Telesphorus voice and percussion, Greta Bakers and Arnaldo "LA" Santoro voices, Domenico Sanna acoustic and electric piano, bass Giuseppe Bassi, Roberto Pistolesi battery.
Lover of black music, Gege Telesforo has always been a versatile artist, and above all a fine vocalist, innovative technique of "scat". Telesphorus over the years has shown un'inossidabile ability to bring together the best Italian and international jazz collaborations with increasingly the highest level.
