An unusual and enjoyable afternoon of art and literature, will be what you will spend Friday, December 14, 2012, the Pepoli Museum of Trapani , reading Dante and paintings.
In the first room of the gallery that houses the late medieval painting, starting at 17.30, Friends of the Museum Pepoli and citizens who want to participate, assist it in the performance of the actor Ivan Alabrese who will recite the canto of the Paradiso XXXIII, a hymn of praise to Mary by St. Bernard, preceded by a critical comment.
Other interesting time, 18.30, will be dedicated to the guided tour of the exhibition John Lentini (1882-1948). A Sicilian in Milan, held in the chapter room, and landed in Trapani after the success of public and critics had in Palermo in 2011.
Admission is free for both the performance for the exhibition.
Other exhibits significant and unique in its kind are the jewels and votive offerings, which were donated by the nobles and princes visiting the Madonna, as well as simple objects of little value donated by ordinary citizens devotees. These objects make the property of the Museum Pepoli a treasure of inestimable value. Rating: 5
