Will restart works of excavation of the seabed of the port of San Vito lo Capo, which began last spring and stopped in conjunction with the tourist season.
Within a couple of months the operation will be concluded and the seabed around the dock will have a minimum depth of three meters. The area affected is that of the pier, that because the game is more exposed to the current 'Ongoing work will report burying the depths of the harbor at a height accessible for working boats and touring, and, moreover, will broaden the beach due to the approximately 26 000 cubic meters of sand removed from the bottom with the dredge. The works include a total expenditure of about 400 000 euros, 100 of these will be borne by the municipality while the remaining 300 will be funded by the Province. The port of San Vito, therefore, will be even more welcoming than that one of the safest and most frequented of Sicily.
