Giuseppe Gentile , president and A.D. Air Italy illustrates, in an article published in Il Sole -24 Ore , the moves that the carrier could put in place to replace Ryanair , if the Irish were to stop from 23 January following the routes Italian "lite" with ENAC on the documents of embarkation. " I do not think - said Gentile - that Ryanair really leave the positions he has on the Italian market , has too many advantages. But if you really retire , as announced , Air Italy is ready to put online at least five or six planes in a month and a half . " With regard to the intervention of Air Italy, rumors would speak also of a convergence with Alitalia, but the Gentile eslcude . "Agreements in discussion with Alitalia ?
