Starts the 3rd International Kite Festival, entitled "Experiences in the nose up!" Which will take place from Saturday 21 to Sunday, May 29 in San Vito Lo Capo. Many Italian and international kites that will animate the sky of the country, will attend the Festival of kites ten delegations from Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Britain, Indonesia, Italy, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA. The event also includes workshops, fair wind, shows, night flights and a number of initiatives for children that every day they can take part in the workshops of the construction of kites. This year also the new "Miss Kite" is not just a beauty contest but a real campaign to raise awareness of eating disorders becoming more common among young people, such as bulimia and anorexia.
