On April 22, Trapani celebrates Good Friday procession with a very particular, so-called "Misteri of Trapani. The tradition is over 400 years and involves thousands of citizens and tourists. It is a long religious event that takes place 14 pm Friday and lasted for nearly four hours, until Saturday. The mysteries are twenty sculptures representing the stages of passion and life of Jesus walking the downtown course in the shoulders of the faithful in a show of lights, sounds, colors.
