Its tenth edition celebrates the "Red Aglio and White Sale", organized by the Trapani Welcome association under the patronage of the Municipality of Paceco.
Like every year, the event, which will take place entirely in the evocative location of the Salt Museum of Nubia and throughout the natural reserve of the salt pans of Trapani and Paceco, has the ambitious goal of enhancing two flavors that are part of the local cultural tradition like the salt extracted from these salt pans and the red garlic with its particularly strong flavor thanks to its allicin content, clearly above the average that is grown in the lands of Nubia.
Over the years, the exhibition has become an international showcase for the territory with two days, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September, where culture, traditions and flavors are combined.
But there will not be only tastings of pasta with garlic or rianata pizza but also guided tours inside the Saline Reserve of Trapani and Paceco by the staff of the same reserve, conferences, exhibitions-market, and every evening at the traditional sunset manual collection of salt with salt from salters.
Also the children will be protagonists of this review with the kite workshops organized by the international festival of kites in the province of Trapani and there will be cooking shows with demonstrations of garlic braiding, tastings and insights.
As always, the organization provides a shuttle bus to reach the event; practically paying a ticket of € 8.00 per person A / R you can reach the location, starting from the port of Trapani. Attention: places are limited and reservations are required.
